CEO of Pasco-based Energy Company Talks to Front Row Tampa Bay
September 2, 2012
Tim Tangredi, CEO of Pasco-based Dais Analytic in Odessa was a panelist for the entrepreneurship panel on Front Row Tampa Bay. Tangredi says with energy, water and sunshine, Tampa Bay is the perfect place for his company.
“The reason we chose Pasco and frankly Odessa, a couple of different things but first it boils down to I travel a lot internationally and the airport here is great. People can get here, and we can get them. That’s one. The second thing is the roads are good, people like the environment. They like the fact that most of the time it’s summer; they have a good time. We have not to date had any issues bringing people here in very high technology type of positions to the area because the area is attractive. The area offers a lot.” - Tim Tangredi, CEO, Dais Analytic Corp.
Recently, Tim and Patricia Tangredi pitched in $10,000 of their personal money to help fund Pasco EDC's microloan program to help small businesses having trouble to get the financing they need. The Tangredi’s know what it’s like to be a small business owner. Tangredi started his company, Dais Analytic Corp., in the Rensselaer incubator working on developing fuel cells when it decided to come to Florida in 1998. Pasco County incentives and assistance from the Pasco EDC helped make the move to Florida. Dais Analytic has since grown to over 25 employees and recently ranked no. 2 on the list of energy companies to watch in Forbes Magazine.
