Congratulations to Pall Aeropower, this year’s Category 2 Manufacturing Industry of the Year award winner! PEDC Manufacturing Industry of the Year Category 2 | 2012 from VHVIDEO.COM. Established in 1981, The Pall Corporation is a supplier of filtration, separation and purification technologies. The parent company has operations in 80 locations in 30 countries. They employ over 10,000 people and they serve customers through two broad business groups globally: Life Sciences and Industrial. The Industrial business group is focused on developing, manufacturing and selling products to customers in the Energy, Water, Aeropower and Microelectronics markets. Pall Aeropower of New Port Richey, manufactures products such as filter elements, aircraft cabin air filters, pressure monitoring devices, inlet air cleaners, fluid purifiers, inlet barrier filters, precision valves, and Last Chance Filters. These products must be manufactured with the utmost precision and perfection. The parts produced by PALL are used in Boeing CH-47 Chinooks, UH-60 Blackhawks, F-35 Lightning II, V-22 Ospreys, B747 Dreamliner’s and water vessel applications, just to name a few, which means that they manufacture the equipment that protect those who protect us! The company is always on the cutting edge of other new developments and their technology design and engineering allows them to utilize 3D modeling of new products and technologies with a direct link to manufacturing. They have recently made a capital investment of $5mm for a new prototype lab, additional security and new equipment. This will provide for more capabilities to develop and test advances technologies for future product offerings. They currently have 183,000 sq. ft. of space on 57 acres in New Port Richey. Pall Aeropower is also the largest private employer in Pasco County. They currently employ 552 people and have identified many who are veterans, disabled, and minorities. Female minorities also hold key executive positions.
