Pasco County Extension Hosts Food Safety Class

~~Learn critical cleaning & safety techniques for shared-use & commercial kitchens~~

DADE CITY, FL  ----  Are you a food entrepreneur looking to create a food safety plan, improve food safety practices or better understand regulations?  Join UF/IFAS Pasco County Extension and the Pasco Economic Development Council’s SMARTstart program for a one-day food safety class Tuesday, November 15, 2022!

 

Don’t Start from Scratch: Food Safety & Regulations in Commercial Kitchens will offer an overview of food safety regulations including an introduction to the Preventive Controls for Human Food rule.

  • Calibration of Instruments
  • Sanitation & Allergen Controls

The cost of the class is $10 for members of the One Stop Shop and $30 for non-members.  Lunch is included.  This workshop is not a replacement for the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance-Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (FSPCA-PCQI) course.
