The Pasco EDC Staff
Bill Cronin 
President/CEO
Bill joined the Pasco EDC as President/CEO as of January 2016 after a nation-wide search. He has a long career in economic development spanning 25 years in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Bill has extensive knowledge and experience which includes ten years with Enterprise Florida, specializing in international trade and business development. Bill holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs and Political Science as well as a certificate in Asian Studies from Michigan State University.
Tom Ryan, CEcD 
Director of Business Development
Tom is responsible for business development of new and expanding office, technology, and industrial related businesses and parks. His responsibilities also include coordinating strategies to support economic development efforts in targeted areas, including, confidential site analysis, regulatory assistance, compiling location data and incentive programs. Tom holds a B.A. in Communication Management from the University of Dayton.
Mike Bishop 
Director of Stakeholder Engagement
Mike is responsible for stakeholder relations, a community-facing role that strives to enhance the Pasco EDC and County’s relationships amongst business leaders. He also oversees local, national and international event coordination and logistics, while serving as an enthusiastic spokesperson for the Pasco EDC. He has a background in entrepreneurship in Pasco County, as well as being an active leader in the community sitting on several non-profit boards and is a proud Rotarian. Mike holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of South Florida.
Turner Arbour 
Senior Economic Development Manager
Turner is responsible for the Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Program, WorkforceCONNECT, and the International Program at Pasco EDC. His responsibilities include working with existing industry in Pasco County to assist with retention and expansion, workforce resources, and international business. He is responsible for the development of the WorkforceCONNECT website, a resource for employers, job seekers and workforce providers. Turner has been working with Pasco’s small businesses since 2010 in website development and consumer sentiment analysis, and also serves on the Pasco-Hernando Workforce Board of Directors. He holds a B.S. in Global Business from the University of South Florida Saint Petersburg.
Daniel Mitchell, EDP 
SMARTstart Program Director
Dan is responsible for managing the SMARTstart program, from working directly with small businesses to running the incubator locations across Pasco. Prior to joining Pasco EDC, he had been coaching individuals and businesses, as well as being an entrepreneur himself. Dan holds a B.S. in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, as well as his Certified Financial Planner accreditation.
Ashlee Underdown 
SMARTstart Program Coordinator
Ashlee assists the SMARTstart Program Director with communicating to businesses and aids in conducting events. She has previous experience managing a business, and hopes to grow professionally while assisting small business owners through the SMARTstart Program. Ashlee holds an Associates of Art degree from Pasco-Hernando State College and is currently continuing her education to achieve a B.A. in Business Organization Administration.
Suzanne Renczkowski 
Director of Operations
Suzanne is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations, procedures, events, and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Before joining Pasco EDC in 1994, Suzanne served as Public Affairs Coordinator at Saint Leo University. Suzanne is a graduate of Taylor Business Institute in Paramus, New Jersey.
Lauren Miceli 
Director of Marketing & Communications
Lauren is responsible for all marketing and communications for the Pasco EDC. Her responsibilities include ad placement, social media management, graphic design, public relations and all communication and promotions efforts. Before joining the Pasco EDC, Lauren worked for a local chamber of commerce and for the Pasco County Office of Tourism Development, giving her a familiarity with Pasco County. She holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida with concentration in Public Relations. She also earned a certificate from the University of South Florida for Meeting and Event Planning.
Holly McDowall 
Marketing Coordinator
Holly works with the Director of Marketing and Communications to promote the Pasco EDC and Pasco County. Some responsibilities include social media management, graphic design, and drafting publications. Prior to joining the Pasco EDC, Holly worked with multiple non-profits including The Children’s Campaign, Relay for Life, and Metropolitan Ministries. She holds a B.S. in Media and Communication Studies and Psychology from Florida State University.
Becky Martin 
Special Program Assistant
Becky provides administrative support for the Pasco EDC staff at various levels with emphasis placed on, marketing support of social media distribution, all aspects of the Pasco Microloan Program, and support of the SMARTstart Business Incubator program. She is also responsible for updating the programs and information on the SMARTstart website. Prior to joining Pasco EDC, Becky worked for the Department of Health and The Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce. She is also a graduate of Leadership Hernando 2009.
Sarah Alway 
Workforce Development Coordinator
Sarah primarily assists and works closely with the Senior Economic Development Manager to provide support to companies through the workforceCONNECT platform. She has previous experience managing a nonprofit organization and hopes to grow professionally within Pasco EDC. She holds a BA in Economics from West Virginia University and a MS in Economic Development from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Amber Lake 
Special Events Coordinator
Amber assists and works closely with the Director of Stakeholder Engagement. Her responsibilities include organizing and monitoring all progress for Pasco EDC events. Prior to joining the team, she interned with Florida’s Sports Coast, Pasco County’s Destination Management Organization. She also played beach volleyball at Saint Leo University where she received her B.A. in Sports Business Management and her M.B.A. specified in Marketing.
