Eight Experts from Five Local Industries to Share Business Success Stories and Tips
Wesley Chapel, Fla. (April 27, 2016) —Tampa Bay area entrepreneurs and small business owners looking for inspiration and tips for growth will be happy to hear BizGROW 2.0: Conference and Entrepreneurship Exchange is back for its fourth year. The event, taking place once again at the Pasco Hernando State College, Porter Campus in Wesley Chapel, will be held on Thursday, May 12 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The highlights of BizGROW 2.0 are the real-life stories by executives of successful and emerging local companies. They will share their own experiences in starting and growing profitable businesses. This year’s keynote presentations will be delivered by Jorge Brea, President & CEO of Symphonic Distribution, and Mike Bishop, Founder of Big Storm Brewing, Inc.
Participants will hear from industry experts on a range of topics, including legal changes in the marketplace by Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick attorneys-at-law, Michele Hintson (changes in human resource law) and Tom Toner (changes in patent law), as well as a panel focusing on Information Technology Security featuring Dr. Michael Moorman, Professor of Computer Science, and Joshua Adams, Instructor of Information Security, from Saint Leo University.
Participants will be given ample time for networking opportunities with each other and sponsor businesses participating in the event’s business expo.
Seating is limited, and advance registration is required. The early registration rate for BizGROW 2.0 is $30 by May 8 ($35, May 9-12 if seating is available). Light breakfast and lunch is provided with registration.
