Thousands of Acres Strategically Located and Ready for Development in North Tampa Bay, Florida

Pasco County, located in north Tampa Bay is one of the fastest growing counties in Florida. Companies are locating to Pasco for expansion sites strategically located along major transportation corridors providing access to consumer markets, skilled workforce and vibrant communities in close proximity to Tampa International Airport, Port Tampa Bay and CSX Rail.

Demand for project-ready industrial properties has never been higher as speed to market puts pressure on companies to make quick and informed location decisions while allocating precious time to design, construct and open a new facility. As such, the site selection process demands entitled sites with large contiguous developable acreage serviced with roads and utilities sized for industrial development.

Recognizing this trend, the Pasco Economic Development Council, in partnership with Pasco County, has implemented the Pasco Ready Sites Program. The Ready Sites Program accesses, evaluates, and certifies large tracts of land to prepare properties for industrial development and create a portfolio of project-ready sites for targeted industries. There is over 2,000 acres of land being actively marketed in the program. Each site features numerous digital tools for site selectors to utilize and tour the site.

The program has seen great success through the sale of 68 acres for an Amazon Robotic Sortation Center, at an impressive 1 million square feet and most recently Bauducco Foods, a Brazil-based food manufacturer, purchased 72 acres on the Zephyrhills Airport Industrial Park Ready Site and will create 600 jobs and invest $233 million.
