PASCO COUNTY, FLORIDA (August 24, 2021) — The Pasco Economic Development Council (Pasco EDC) is pleased to welcome Harney Hardware to the county. The logistics and distribution company is investing $7,500,000 in a new 45,000 square foot facility in ComPark 75, right off of Interstate 75. The facility will be home to 20 employees with salaries exceeding 198 percent of the average county wage.

“I would like to welcome the Harney Hardware team to Pasco County,” said Pasco County Commissioner Mike Moore. “They chose a great location for their facility and they are bringing high-paying jobs to Pasco County, I look forward to watching them grow.”

Harney Hardware is a supplier of residential and commercial door and bathroom hardware and direct ships to customers in all 50 states. Harney Hardware has experienced growth in their hardware business especially in the home improvement sector and demand for quality products delivered to customers’ front door.

“I want to thank the Pasco EDC for their assistance in the site selection and permitting process,” shared Preston Copenhaver, CEO, Harney Hardware. “ComPark 75's access to I-75 and surrounding communities really helped me ultimately decide on Pasco for our new location. We distribute over 75 percent of our products outside of Florida, and the majority of our workforce lives in Pasco County, I am looking forward to growing my business here.”

“Harney Hardware is a great example of the target industries we are trying to strategically attract to Pasco County,” said Bill Cronin, President/CEO, Pasco EDC. “They are in logistics and distribution, offer great wages, and they already knew we had the quality workforce they needed since many of their staff are already residents.
